I'm Kirtana — a counselling psychologist offering warm, evidence-based therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, and the quieter struggles in between.

About
I'm a Bangalore-based counselling psychologist with a deep commitment to helping people find clarity, ease, and a sense of agency in their lives. My practice is rooted in the belief that every story deserves to be heard without judgement.
I work primarily with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship difficulties, identity questions, grief, and major life transitions. My approach is integrative — drawing on cognitive-behavioural therapy, person-centred therapy, and mindfulness-based practices — and is always shaped around the person sitting across from me.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply curious about yourself, therapy can be a steady, supportive place to start.
How I can help
Untangling persistent worry, panic, and the weight of constant overthinking.
Finding small footholds and meaning when life feels heavy, flat, or distant.
Understanding patterns, boundaries, and communication — with partners, family, and yourself.
Navigating career changes, relocation, parenthood, loss, and the in-between.
Exploring who you are, what matters to you, and where your worth comes from.
Holding space for the many shapes of loss — relationships, people, possibilities.

Kirtana made me feel safe enough to actually be honest — with her, and with myself. For the first time, therapy felt less like performing and more like coming home.
I came in convinced I was the problem. I left understanding myself with so much more compassion. Her gentle way of asking the right questions changed how I see my own life.
Working with Kirtana helped me move through a long grief I hadn't been able to name. She held space without rushing me, and that patience meant everything.
My anxiety used to feel like a wall. Through our sessions, I've learned to listen to it instead of fight it. I feel steadier in my own life now.
